List of required documents
In order to start driving, you will need to submit required documents that will be reviewed by our team. You will need some personal documents (including a license from your local council) and you will also need vehicle documents. Here’s the list of documents you’ll need to submit:
1. Personal documents
–A valid UK DVLA Plastic Driver’s Licence (you must be at least 21 years of age)
- Must be a full licence, not provisional
- To find out how to exchange your foreign driving licence for a British licence in this government website
–DVLA Electronic Counterpart Check Code (must be generated using the government webpage)
- Please take a screenshot of the generated code and submit this to us through your partner dashboard like any other document
- Make sure this code has not been used before and was generated within the last 21 days
–Bank Statement (for the same account where you’ll be receiving Tugu payments to)
- The financial details of the transactions can be excluded from the statement (cropped or blurred out) –National Insurance Number

2. Vehicle documents
Insurance certificate (or Temporary Cover Note)
- If you or the vehicle you will be using is not covered on the insurance certificate you will also need to provide us with supporting documentation (i.e permission letter, driver schedule, vehicle schedule)
- Insurance documents with time restrictions on coverage are not accepted
–MOT test certificate (full document issued by an approved testing station)
- The certificate must state “Pass” and the word ‘DANGEROUS’ must not be present in the advisory notes
–V5C Vehicle Logbook or New Keeper Slip
- New Keeper Slip will be accepted for a period of 2 months from the date of issue/sale or transfer
- If you have a new vehicle, we can accept a Confirmation of Registration document for a period of 2 months from the date of registration
