What Documents You Needed to Apply

Drivers must provide the documents listed below to be considered for driving on the Tugu platform.

To ensure we can process your application and activate your account without delay, please review the following document requirements before submitting your documents.

DVLA Driving Licence

DVLA Check Code

We require the check code to retrieve the PDF of the driving summary, which will be used as validation for your DVLA driving licence.

Important: Each code is valid for 21 days and can only be used once.



MOT Test Certificate

If the production year of your vehicle dates back more than 1 year, you’re required to obtain an MOT test certificate.

For Private Hire purposes, the MOT test must be completed every 6 months throughout the validity of your Private Hire Licence.

V5C Logbook/New keeper’s slip

V5C logbook requirements

You must upload the most recent version of your V5C logbook. We can accept any page of the V5C document or an E-logbook, as long as the following information is included:

New keeper’s slip or Confirmation of Registration requirements

You can upload a new keeper’s slip or Confirmation of Registration if you have bought the vehicle recently and have not yet been issued the full V5C logbook. We can only accept these documents if:

To show proof of insurance, you must upload an insurance certificate or a temporary cover note.
